बुद्ध का आष्टांगिक मार्ग (अष्टांग मार्ग) यानी "The Noble Eightfold Path" वह रास्ता है जिससे इंसान दुःख से मुक्ति पाकर निर्वाण (मोक्ष) की ओर बढ़ सकता है। यह मार्ग तीन मुख्य भागों में बाँटा गया है – प्रज्ञा (ज्ञान), शील (नैतिकता), और समाधि (ध्यान)।

यह रहे आष्टांगिक मार्ग के आठ अंग, हिंदी में:

– संसार और जीवन को जैसे वह है, वैसे देखना।

– ऐसा व्यवसाय या नौकरी करना जो दूसरों को हानि न पहुँचाए।
– शराब, मांस, हथियार या झूठ पर आधारित काम से बचना।

– बुरे विचारों को रोकना और अच्छे विचारों को बढ़ावा देना।
– आत्म-नियंत्रण और सतत अभ्यास।

🧘 7. सम्यक स्मृति (Right Mindfulness / सही स्मृति)

– वर्तमान क्षण में सजग और सतर्क रहना।
– शरीर, भावनाओं, मन और विचारों का गहराई से निरीक्षण करना।

🧘 8. सम्यक समाधि (Right Concentration / सही एकाग्रता)

– ध्यान द्वारा मन को एकाग्र और स्थिर करना।
– ध्यान की गहरी अवस्था में प्रवेश कर आत्मबोध प्राप्त करना।

ये आठ अंग मिलकर एक सम्पूर्ण जीवन पथ बनाते हैं, जो व्यक्ति को आत्मिक शांति और अंततः निर्वाण की ओर ले जाता है।

5 बुद्ध के पंचशील (Panchsheel) बुद्ध धर्म में नैतिक जीवन के पाँच मूल सिद्धांत

बुद्ध के पंचशील (Panchsheel) बुद्ध धर्म में नैतिक जीवन के पाँच मूल सिद्धांत हैं, जिन्हें हर अनुयायी को पालन करना चाहिए। ये पाँच नियम हैं:

1. मैं प्राणी हत्या नहीं करूँगा।
   (मैं किसी भी जीवित प्राणी को जानबूझकर हानि नहीं पहुँचाऊँगा।)

2. मैं चोरी नहीं करूँगा।
   (मैं जो मुझे नहीं दिया गया है, उसे नहीं लूँगा।)

3. मैं कुशील (अशुद्ध यौन आचरण) नहीं करूँगा।
   (मैं यौन जीवन में संयम और मर्यादा का पालन करूँगा।)

4. मैं झूठ नहीं बोलूँगा।
   (मैं सत्य बोलूँगा और किसी को धोखा नहीं दूँगा।)

5. मैं मादक पदार्थों का सेवन नहीं करूँगा।
   (मैं नशे की चीजों से दूर रहूँगा जो मन को भ्रमित करती हैं।)

ये पंचशील बुद्ध के अनुयायियों के लिए एक नैतिक मार्गदर्शन हैं और आत्मिक शुद्धता व समाज में सद्भाव बनाए रखने के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण माने जाते हैं।

4 बुद्ध के चार आर्य सत्य (चार noble truths) – "चतुरार्य सत्‍य" (Chatur Arya Satya)

 ये भगवान बुद्ध की शिक्षाओं का मूल आधार हैं। उन्होंने बोधगया में ज्ञान प्राप्ति के बाद सबसे पहले सारनाथ में इन चार आर्य सत्यों का उपदेश दिया था। हिंदी में ये इस प्रकार हैं:

1. दुःख सत्य (Dukkha Satya)
   जीवन में दुःख है।  जन्म, बुढ़ापा, रोग, मृत्यु, वियोग, अप्रीतिकर से मिलना और प्रीतिकर से बिछड़ना — ये सभी दुःख हैं।

2. दुःख समुदय सत्य (Dukkha Samudaya Satya)
   इस दुःख का कारण है — तृष्णा (इच्छा, लालच, आसक्ति)। यही इच्छा बार-बार जन्म और दुःख का कारण बनती है।

3. दुःख निरोध सत्य (Dukkha Nirodha Satya)
   इस तृष्णा का अंत किया जा सकता है। जब तृष्णा समाप्त होती है, तो दुःख का अंत हो जाता है — यही निर्वाण है।

4. दुःख निरोध मार्ग सत्य (Dukkha Nirodha Marga Satya)
   दुःख से मुक्ति पाने का एक मार्ग है — आष्टांगिक मार्ग (Ashtangik Marg)। यह आठ अंगों वाला मार्ग है जो नैतिकता, ध्यान और प्रज्ञा पर आधारित है।
